HRSG Wins New Contract with the Canadian Police Sector Council

(Free-Press-Release.com) June 30, 2011 -- Human Resource Systems Group, Ltd. (HRSG), international leader in competency-based tools and systems, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the Canadian Police Sector Council (PSC) to develop a national competency‐based learning and development program for the investigator role.

The PSC brings together leaders from the senior ranks of governments, police agencies, employee associations, governing bodies and training institutions. Its mandate is to understand and address the most critical issues facing Canadian policing, and to enable solutions that ensure the sustainability of the sector for the future.

Under the new contract, HRSG is responsible for building a best practice learning and development framework for the role of investigator. In doing so, HRSG will work collaboratively with the Canadian Police Knowledge Network and policing training providers nationwide to ensure that the resulting model accurately reflects the needs of the sector and builds upon existing work identifying the competencies and skills in policing.

HRSG is also tasked to integrate automated competency-based management tools in the roll-out of this initiative. HRSG’s i-SkillSuite® system, and more specifically, its assessment capabilities, will be used during the validation phase of this project to gather feedback on both the content and processes.
