Boise, Idaho . . . are you ready? HSBCAMPS, America’s fastest growing youth basketball program, has announced its return to the Treasure Valley June 27-30, 2011. The four-day Camp and Morning Clinic, will not only provide the highest level of basketball education to boys and girls in the elementary, middle, and high school grades (K-12th) but also brings kids up close and personal with the pros. HSBCAMPS has compiled a group of elite basketball coaching talent from around the country including various members of the NBA Development and other professional leagues to mentor, train, and develop all of those in attendance.
Backed by a “Quality over Quantity” mentality, HSBCAMPS comprehensive curriculum offers every participant extensive knowledge and instruction on every aspect of his or her game. Most impressive of all is an industry leading 8:1 player to coach ratio providing every athlete one-on-one individualized attention from a world-class staff of collegiate and professional players and coaches. In addition, a portion of all camp proceeds will be donated back to the community.

“This will be our second year in Boise and we could not be happier to have found a new partner in Capital High,” explains Carson Sofro, HSBCAMPS Founder. “We had some great support from the local community last year, and were able to put the kids face-to-face with some great pro players including 2010 NBA D-League MVP and Houston Rockets Reserve, Mike Harris.” HSBCAMPS prides itself as a youth basketball program that “gives back”, donating a portion of every programs proceeds to schools and non-profits within each of the communities they serve. With more than $50,000 raised to date, HSBCAMPS stands firm in its commitment to provide every child, regardless of age or income, with an opportunity to attend.

“Idaho is where this program began in 2007, and it is where I grew up,” shared Sofro. “Giving these kids the opportunity to train one-on-one with actual pro’s from all over the country and around the world is what this program is all about and we look forward to doing this year after year.” In addition to Boise, the nationally expanding youth basketball camp will also be serving up high scoring experiences in Forney, Texas; Houston, Texas; Rockwall, Texas; Park City, Utah; Hailey, Idaho; Twin Falls, Idaho; Bend, Oregon; Medford, Oregon; San Diego, California; and Bellevue, Washington.
