Huddersfield company donates bed to ITV makeover show

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 8, 2009 -- Click 4 Beds has donated a bed to ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover for their new series and will be on our screens this Thursday as one of the show’s suppliers.

The online bed retailer donated the super king size OBC Marseille Metal Bed Frame to the home makeover show for the main bedroom of its Bromley, Kent episode. Click 4 Beds will appear as one of the suppliers on the show that will air on Thursday 10th September, which is the fourth episode of the seventh series.

The 60 Minute Makeover team said: “We have really appreciated your support throughout – thank you so much for all your help and for being so great to deal with. I hope you agree that your products worked well within the makeover.”

The episode features the show’s designer Kathryn Rayward and the team visiting the home of Isadora who has had health problem since retiring as a midwife, her daughters organised the surprise home makeover as a treat to cheer her up.

Based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, Click 4 Beds is a small family-run business that sells a range of beds and bedroom furniture. Managing Director Steven Laidlaw said: “When the 60 Minute Makeover team contacted us, we were delighted to help them out with a bed. As a family business, we’re always happy to get involved with good causes and to help others.”

It’s not the first time that the Huddersfield company has appeared on the show, Click 4 Bed’s sister company Distinctive Chesterfields has previously donated an authentic brown leather Chesterfield wing chair for an episode from series six in May 2009.

The bed donated was the OBC Marseille Metal Bed Frame in a super king size, it is a French style glossy ivory bed frame made from cast metal.

Sister company Distinctive Chesterfields previously supplied the Cavendish brown leather wing chair for the Cramlington, Northumberland episode of series six in May 2009.
