Got Wildlife? recently executed a full property inspection to find that the Museum has recent visitors.
Flying squirrels are harboring in the ceiling cavity entering from from the rear of the building.
Got Wildlife? operates in both New York and New Jersey. "It is one of the toughest wildlife issues to solve".
Flyers are stealth and easily squeeze into the most difficult spaces and cracks. Their behavior is quick and quite. They have a tendancy to be big urinators which initiates a health and safety issue and must be removed.
Got Wildlife? Management met with Museum Management and reviewed a "humane" plan to remedy the situation and get them back into the wild where they belong.
Got Wildlife? agreed to leave the wildlife removal tools and materials up for a short period of time to allow the Musuem team to use it as an example on the importance of wildlife and why they need to remain in the wild, not in the Museum.
The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum operates two facilities, 1½ miles apart, and also offers programs at schools and other locations throughout the region. The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum is a private non-profit institution dedicated to the natural and the cultural history of the Hudson Highlands. Founded in 1959, the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum is a center for nature, with a focus on environmental education an a mission to develop responsible caretakers of the natural world.
