Families that would like to save money or can’t see paying full price for the name brand markets, are now able to purchase name brand clothing, toys, baby gear and more for a fraction of the retail price thanks to the Lots for Tots Consignment Sale held at the Libertyville Sports Complex, Friday, June 17 – 12pm-8pm, Saturday, June 18 – 10am-6pm and June 19 – 10am-3pm (1/2 Price on Select Items).

Lots for Tots has created a consignment event where consignors receive up to 80% of the selling price for their new and/or gently used children’s items and shoppers receive steep discounts on name brand clothing, toys, baby gear and more. Lots for Tots has been created by Kathy Gallagher-Gomez, a stay at home mom of two children.

Everyone wins at consignment events like Lots for Tots. In addition to consignors making money and shoppers saving money, the community also wins. Parents have the option to donate their unsold items to Kid's Pantry out of Christian Life Church in Mt. Prospect. They are part of a non-profit organization and are open to all families in the community.
Kathy Gallagher-Gomez has been to other consignment sales and feels these are wonderful events for the community. “Children grow out of their baby gear, toys and clothes so quickly; it is a great benefit to help protect our environment by recycling items that would otherwise end up in the landfills while saving and making money at the same time.”

I’ve had to tighten up dramatically after losing my job and these events are a great way to do that,” says Kathy Gallagher-Gomez. She adds that “It is wonderful to be able to pass these items along to the next needed family at a fraction of retail.”
