Potassium is highly recommended by experts in the case either the poor functioning of muscular system or to maintain proper functioning of nerves.

But the key to all ORS is to provide recommended amount of them if you really want your patient to get recover from dehydration. But what is very important is the regular intake of clean, boiled and purified water by patient along with ORS.
