Hundreds of Members of City of Praise Church To Demonstrate in the Final Day of Occupy Jericho Movement

Landover, Maryland, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 7, 2011 -- Landover, MD November 6, 2011 – For the last six days, the members of City of Praise Church in Landover, MD have shown their support of their pastor Joel Peebles by marching around the church in silent prayer. Monday, November 7, 2011 marks the seventh day when the congregation will march in jubilant celebration.

City of Praise church members ask that supporters and fellow Christians meet at the City of Praise with tambourines, noise-makers, drums, trumpets and more.

WHO: City of Praise church members

WHAT: Church members will demonstrate support for Pastor Joel Peebles and William Meadows who have be sued by six employees of the church who claim to be the board

WHEN: November 7, 2011 at 7pm EST

WHERE: City of Praise Church, 8501 Jericho City Drive, Landover, MD 20785 (Next to Fedex Field)

WHY: Because the City of Praise congregation
• flatly rejects attempts made by the six employees to remove the authority of Pastor Joel Peebles a the administrative and spiritual leader of the City of Praise Church
• flatly rejects attempts to remove Chairman William Meadows and Deacon Anne Wesley from the board on which they have served fro more than 30 years

• flatly opposes any attempts to sue Pastor Joel Peebles and longtime beloved member William Meadows in the name of the church and using tithe money
