Hundreds of Valley Residents to Take Strides for
Food Allergy Research and Education


WHAT: The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network Walk for Food Allergy will take place this year in Tempe and 42 other U.S. cities, as well as online, to raise money for food allergy research and education. Last year, the events raised upwards of 2.4 million dollars nationwide.

WHO: Hundreds of Valley residents are expected to walk with their families and friends. Also attending will be Kyle Dine, The Phoenix Suns Gorilla, Arizona Diamondbacks Baxter, ASU’s Sparky, The Phoenix Coyotes Howler, Phoenix International Raceway’s NASCAR race car, City of Mesa Councilmember Dave Richins, and Dr. Levente Erdos.

THIS IS A FREE EVENT with a carnival like atmosphere for the entire family! A special performance by Canadian artist Kyle Dine, clowns, face painting, balloon artists, arts and crafts, The Game Truck mobile gaming unit, P.I.R.’s NASCAR race car which you can jump into the drivers seat and get your picture taken in, The Phoenix Coyotes Slap Shot game, bouncy house, live DJ and more!

WHY: Launched in 2004, The FAAN Walk for Food Allergy raises funds for research and education programs to benefit the 15 million Americans affected by food allergy.
