Huntsville Adventure Boot Camp raising money for fresh drinking water

Huntsville, Alabama, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 9, 2012 -- Huntsville Adventure Boot Camp will be holding a co-ed boot camp to raise funds to purchase a water pump for the people of Chacraseca, Nicaragua on February 11, 2012 from 9:00-10:00 am at Weatherly Heights Elementary School. The camp is for both men and women. The price of admission is a donation of any amount to help purchase the water pump. Participants should bring an exercise mat, a towel, and a water bottle.

Huntsville Adventure Boot Camp is a four week, outdoor fitness program that is usually for women only that meets at Weatherly Elementary School in south Huntsville. The program combines the best aspects of personal training and group fitness in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. The instructor/owner of Huntsville Adventure Boot Camp is Joe Martin who grew up in Huntsville and graduated from Grissom High School. “Chacraseca will always have a special place in my heart after I went on a mission trip there.” says Martin. “The people basically have nothing already, so to lose their clean drinking water is devastating.” Every participant gets in shape at their own individual pace, so all shapes, sizes, and abilities are welcome. Each camp includes nutritional guidance, pre and post assessments, daily motivation, obstacles courses, resistance training, core exercises, cardiovascular workouts, fitness games, and many other unique workouts. “Clean water is something we all take for granted.” says Martin. “So to be able to provide that for someone who desperately needs it is an honor."

Huntsville Adventure Boot Camp started in July of 2009. Huntsville Adventure Boot Camp is part of the Adventure Boot Camp system, which is the largest and most successful boot camp program in the world. Adventure Boot Camp was started in Orange County, CA by world renowned fitness expert and entrepreneur Dr. John Spencer Ellis. All Adventure Boot Camp instructors must be experienced, certified personal trainers who then complete the Adventure Boot Camp Instructor course.
