FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) February 8, 2012 --
HVCA Publications, the publishing division of the Heating and Ventilating Contractors’ Association, has launched three updated commercial and legal contracts – CL21 Conditions of Trading, CL70 Maintenance Agreement and CC8/11 Conditions of Sub-Sub-Contract.
Rob Driscoll, Deputy Head of the HVCA’s Commercial and Legal Department, said:
“The three contracts have been updated in line with the amendments to the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, that came into effect in October last year. The three contracts form the beginning of a suite of commercial and legal publications that the HVCA plans to continually update and add to.”
The contracts are to be used as an agreement between the client and contractor or subcontractor, in order to meet commercial and legal requirements.
The Conditions of Trading offers an agreement for the supply of goods and services, to be used by a hvacr company dealing directly with a commercial end-user. Prior to this publication and in response to current industry requirements, the previous two separate conditions of trading have been amalgamated in the form of CL21.
CL70 Maintenance Agreement offers a standard form for use by a hvacr company in conjunction with a commercial client, for either a single property or portfolio of projects.
CC8/11 Conditions of Sub-Sub-Contract, now in its fourth adaptation, is for use by a hvacr company who is either sub-contracting work or is undertaking sub-sub-contracted work.
The HVCA’s CL21 Conditions of Trading, CL70 Maintenance Agreement and CC8/11 Conditions of Sub-Sub-Contract are free to HVCA members and can be obtained by emailing hvcapublications@welplan.co.uk.
