Hypower Inc. Supports Local Efforts of Taylor's Closet

(November 24, 2009) – Hypower, Inc.’s is always trying to help local, national, and international organizations in their efforts toward making the world a better place. Today, Hypower is highlighting one of the local charities that is making south Florida a better place for young girls.

Taylor’s Closet is the brain child of Lindsay Giambattista after she wanted to have an outreach program to help foster girls. Through clothing donations, Lindsay is able to set up “shops” and “stores” throughout the area to “allow girls in foster care to come into a store-like environment and ‘shop’ for whatever clothes they liked – completely free of charge.”
Beginning in late 2005 as a mini “shop” at the Holiday Boat parade until today with a permanent “store” for foster girls and online sales, Taylor’s Closet is an organization giving hope and smiles everyday.

“There are over 500,000 children in this country that are being bumped around the foster care system in this country. In a country that prides itself on its wellbeing and ability to provide, children often slip through the cracks. It is important to not overlook these often forgotten young people, and try to put a smile on a child’s face. Taylor’s Closet is a local way a business like Hypower can reach out to them,” said Richard Paul-Hus, Vice President of Business Development.
