Our society often teaches young girls to view other girls as the enemy. We therefore grow up in an unhealthy competition with other women feeling threatened by their self-confidence, strength and beauty. It is time to let all of that go. We need to celebrate and encourage these virtues in each other. Know that we each have special gifts and talents that enrich the lives of others around us and begin to celebrate the wonderful creatures we are and are continuing to become.


Meditation for the day

Today I focus on the gifts of the women in my life. I learn to incorporate the knowledge I gain from them into my own life and seek to add to theirs. I continue to offer encouragement and strength so as to better all of our lives.


Prayer for the day

I pray for knowledge to share with other women. I request to present myself in a way that shows courage and compassion. I pray to let go of falsehoods pushed on me by a society that seeks to isolate women as a means to keep them in a subservient role.


Mantra for the day

Reflection for the day

Reflect today on the ways we can reach out to others in order to share what we know and meet our needs as well.
