I Imagine Studio to be featured in The Big Book of Green Design

October 9, 2009

Evanston, IL – I Imagine Studio’s Lamin-Art campaign has been selected as a featured example of environmentally friendly marketing methods in a new book entitled The Big Book of Green Design.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) October 9, 2009 -- The book is the first of its kind to focus on sustainable design exclusive to graphic design and advertising, exploring specific techniques and methods that firms are employing worldwide to make their business more eco-conscious. Crescent Hill Books & HarperCollins Publishers accepted approximately 10 percent of the 2000 entries submitted by small to medium-sized firms around the country.

The Lamin-Art campaign focused on creating a new image for the company that incorporated sustainability as well as creativity. I Imagine helped Lamin-Art create informational literature detailing the California Air Resource Board’s (CARB) implementation schedule for lowering carcinogenic formaldehyde emissions from composite wood panels. Within five years of implementation, this development will become the most stringent standard in the world.

“Our agency was designed with Green mission in mind to serve those organizations that improve the quality of life. Lamin-Art represents the type of client who is not only Green on the outside, for its ongoing efforts to provide options for eco-design, but also Green inside, in terms of how they do business and treat their partners,” according to Alena Tsimis, managing director of I Imagine Studio.

Lamin-Art is ahead of the trend and currently using Greenguard Certified low-emitting products for their laminates, in conjunction with CARB-compliant composite wood panels.

The Big Green Book of Design is expected to become a handbook of ideas that will help creative professionals advise their clients on environmentally friendly ‘green design.’ It will be available for purchase through Amazon.com on November 17, 2009.

“We are very happy to see the Green advertising project featured in The Big Book of Green Design. It definitely belongs there,” says I Imagine’s creative director Olga Weiss.
