I'm Headed North Mr. Southard Not South (Pt 2)

(Free-Press-Release.com) April 1, 2010 -- Then there was the fact of me not knowing my field of work and him not being able to figure out what viewpoint that I have written from. Let me explain a little something to all of you reading this. When it comes to the point of view being written from you must place yourself into the characters' position or shoes if you will.

If it is the first person's point of view then the reader can hear your thoughts and not the thoughts of everyone else. Why? Because the reader is looking through the main character's eyes only. They experience everything that he/she experiences.

In the second point of view you can't know any of the characters' thoughts without them expressing those thoughts in some shape, form, or fashion. Why is this true? Because the second point of view is like watching a movie on a movie screen. Just imagine sitting in a cab standing at a red light. You look out of the window and see many people walking around outside. Their stories unfold right before your very eyes. You have no interaction with them at all. Only through speech, facial expression, or body language can you know the thoughts of the characters.

And finally, there is the third person's point of view. The eye of god so to speak. In this point of view you know everyone's thoughts, motives, and general make up. Also in this point of view you can tell many stories that take place during the same second, minute, or even hour. Hence the television show "24". In this point of view, you can tell the story of an amoeba crossing a bathroom floor while also telling the story of a human walking into the bathroom and stepping on that amoeba while also telling the story of a missile that was suddenly misfired from a secret military base and landed on the house where the person walked into the bathroom and stepped on the amoeba that was crossing the floor. All three stories took place in the same span of a minute and you know what happened to all three of them because you are in essence god looking in on the whole scenery. You know everything going on.

In my book, I tell the story of a very intelligent man that has built a secret society with technology that far surpassed everything else on earth. One of his ships crashed in another solar system and was found by an alien species that was not knwon to any of the governments across the earth. Yes, I played on the governments keeping alien contact secret from the masses. And so did Close Encounters of the Third Kind, They Live, and even Smallville if you believe it or not. I also tell the story of how the aliens found the ship, investigated it, and made their way here to earth. I also tell the story of everyday life going on upon their arrival and the impact that their arrival had on us here on earth. Needless to say that my telling you anymore about my work is me spoiling the book for all of you readers out there. But not for the ones that have already read the story.

In closing, I want to leave you with a clip of a conversation that I had with a beautiful young lady that believes in god. We were talking about Star Trek and how god didn't want us out in space. I told her that god wanted us to rule the earth by subduing it and everything in it and also replenishing it. I further said that god challenged us to know the things that was questioned of Job by god. I even made this point that the atmosphere is a part of the earth so therefore it is not prohibited from us studying, subduing, and replenishing. Nor is the space surrounding us since we are all tied in together.

She said that don't I believe that if we get too close to god then he will knock us back down. It's something like this Mr. Michael Sheard incident. I didn't get a chance to tell her this because something else came up and she ended up taking care of some other business. But what I would have told her is that since you claim that being in space is too close to god and he eventually will knock man back down then please stop using the technology that's too close to god. Don't use cellularphones, telephones, televisions, solar panels, computers, guidance systems, or what not for they all are too close to god. As a matter of fact make sure that all of the satellites are taken out of space, take the space station away, all research and technological advances (including discoveries of cures for diseases), cellularphone towers, airplanes, gps systems, microwaves, radio and television towers, and whatever else there is that deals with space technology since it gets too close to god.

As a matter of fact don't watch Star Wars, Star Trek, V, Battlestar Galactica, and the likes either. Don't just mess with my work and career because you are showing that you are biased against me. Other than that this review has done me some good however as it gives me more experience with my career. I look forward to hearing from Mr. Michael Southard in the future as I would like to have him, at the very least, read a copy of my next work to be released titled, "Psye Ens: The Hidden Knowledge" by the exact same publisher. It promises to be even better than the first novel and hopefully more "readable" and more "error free" if you will. That I can promise to you Mr. Michael Sheard. I will make sure you get a copy if only I knew where to send it. So as you can see I had no idea that he had a copy in the first place. I also want to thank you for acknowledging that I do have potential so that at the very least let's me save some face in front of the beautiful young ladies that I have been trying to impress! :)

And finally, I thank you for acknowledging that I will eventually need to find a new publisher for my work. You have to realize something though. When an author begins his career he gets turned down by everyone. Nobody wants to give them that chance that they need to succed. Unless you are one of those flukes of nature! This is only because the author is unproven in the field and oft times have to self publish in order to get some sort of recognition. We pay nothing at all for any of the process dealing with books being published. And they also help in placing our books in front of some very reknowned people such as Mr. Michael Southard. And for all of this and more I am grateful.
