IBEF Presents the India Show in Canada

Gurgaon, Haryana, India, Republic of (Free-Press-Release.com) September 7, 2011 -- Aparna Dutt Sharma, CEO India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) visited Canada from August 8 to 12, 2011 as part of preparations going on for The India Show which will take place from October 17-20, 2011 at Direct Energy Centre in Toronto, coinciding with the Canadian Manufacturing Technology Show (CMTS)

The visit was extremely productive as Ms. Sharma met with some leading executives from the industry and people from bilateral organizations that are working towards making India and Canada partners of a successful business dialogue.

Some highlights of the visit were the comprehensive discussions between Ms. Sharma and Mr. Rana Sarkar, President & Chief Executive Officer Canada-India Business Council (C-IBC) about the opportunities that exist in Canada for the innovative ideas from India. Mr. Sarkar particularly spoke about the concept of frugal innovations and smart city development.

Ms. Aparna Dutt Sharma also met with Mr. Haroon Siddiqui. Editor and Columnist, The Toronto Star. The meeting very much created a new starting point of discussions around brand India.
