They have taken a light hearted look at what this island has to offer any interested buyer.

You must remember that back in October 2008, The 3 major Icelandic banks - Landsbanki, Kaupthing and Glitnir, all went bankrupt, taking with them over half a million British, Dutch, Spanish and Belguim customers cash deposits.

The Icelandic goverment and its citizens had a referendum on whether they should pay back all these billions to foreign depositers who had their life savings invested in these banks. 93.2% of the Icelandic voters said "no".

So 2 years down the road. They still do not want to pay their debts, but still expect to join the European Union.

So lets sell this debt ridden Island and giving something back to its investors.
