http://www.theroyalguardsmen.com “Snoopy Vs. Osama” was written by original Royal Guardsmen members John Burdett and Barry Winslow in 2006. They wrote the tune confident that the United State would eventually bring down the man who was responsible for the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil.
“The Guardsmen were convinced that we would not let this mass murderer get away forever,” said Randolph Michaud, president of The Royal Guardsmen’s label, Star Creek Records. “They didn’t know when or how but they knew we’d get Bin Laden at some point. And when we did, we’d celebrate.
“‘Snoopy Vs. Osama’ really is a song of celebration more than anything. Hopefully, everyone will listen and start dancin’ in the streets!”
Coincidentally, The Royal Guardsmen just released a stirring, patriotic single titled “Alive and Well.” The song’s timely lyrics convey the message that despite the turmoil here in America and around the world, every citizen still holds the key to hope and the power to recover.
“In light of Osama’s death, this tune couldn’t be a more perfect statement for America and the world right now,” said Michaud. “It holds the promise of better days for every single person on the planet.”
“Snoopy Vs. Osama” and “Alive and Well” are available at www.theroyalguardsmen.com, iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby and other online music retailers. Both tunes can be previewed in their entirety on Youtube.
