ID Integration Announces Exclusive RFID, UID, and ATA SPEC 2000 Summit

Mukilteo, Washington, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) July 26, 2011 -- July 26, 2011 - Mukilteo, Washington – ID Integration and Jet City Laser will host the upcoming RFID, UID, and SPEC 2000 Summit on July 20, 2011. This half-day event will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the City Council Room at City Hall in Mukilteo, Washington. This informative Summit will focus on Boeing RFID and Airbus RFID requirements, the ATA SPEC 2000 Program Directive, and related technologies. Additionally, it will cover many topics surrounding the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) UID compliance requirements.

A number of seasoned speakers will present on hot topics concerning UID, Boeing RFID/Airbus RFID, and ATA SPEC 2000 requirements. Highlighted segments include the Chinook Helicopter UID Legacy Part Marking Practical Application presented by Gordon Hearnsberger of the Army CH47 Program Management Office, and a discussion of Compliance Requirements for UID Applications by Gary Moe of ID Integration, Inc.

Moreover, a session on ATA SPEC 2000 Chapter 9 RFID Standards will be delivered by Tim Butler, CEO of TEGO, Inc. RFID topics will include Speaker’s discussions on active and passive technology, reading technology, as well as Airbus RFID and Boeing RFID requirements.

Since the inception of ATA SPEC 2000 Chapter 9, RFID has introduced many, enterprise-wide benefits to both end-customers and production operations involved in implementing these industry-wide standards. Adoption of principles discussed in Chapter 9 RFID Standards, including Airbus RFID and Boeing RFID requirements, may lead to the elimination of data entry errors, improved part location tracking, reduced risk of unapproved parts, and timely problem resolution.
