ID TECH is proud to introduce two brand new bar code readers to its family of scanners. The BluScan is a wireless ultra long-range CCD scanner with an unparalleled wireless transmission range of up to 100 meters and a scan range of 40 inches. In addition to its impressive reach, the BluScan’s ability to read bar code symbologies such as GS1 databar, composite, and PDF417 make it an extremely flexible scanner suitable for multiple applications, such as business offices, shipping/receiving, supermarkets, warehouses, and manufacturing environments. 2DScan is another addition to ID TECH’s bar code scanner line. This handheld 2D bar code imager is capable of reading all global 1D, 2D, and composite bar codes. The 2DScan features omni-directional reading and has the ability to scan bar codes displayed on LCD screens.

ID TECH’s three existing scanners have been upgraded: a. the EconoScan II short-range CCD scanner now boasts a scan rate of 200 scans per second and has the longest reading range in its class; b. the ValueScan II mid-range general-purpose CCD scanner has been upgraded with an auto-sensing feature that provides energy saving and hands-free operation; c. the VersaScan II long-range CCD scanner is top of its class with a scan rate of 450 scans per second, an auto-sensing mode, as well as the ability to read PDF417 bar codes.
