Commerce, MI (November 15, 2010) –IGI, an experienced company at the forefront of 4k resolution systems, has announced that it will participate in the Interservice/Industry Training Simulation and Education Conference (I-ITSEC) with Sony and Globalstor.

I-ITSEC is the world’s largest modeling, simulation and training conference held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL from November 29 – December 2, 2010. I-ITSEC is dedicated to the promotion of cooperation among all branches of the military.

IGI will be showing its IGI PowerWindow ǀ 4K Portable ultra-high resolution and color-accurate rear projection display system in both the Globalstor and Sony booths. Each PowerWindow will be driven by a Sony SRX-T110 SXRD 4K projector along with a Globalstor ExtremeStor 4K in conjunction with a PNY/NVIDIA Quadro plex.

IGI installed a PowerWindow 4K at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, where it is being used for advanced visualization of HD, 2K and 4K content as part of the lab's research & development capability.

The Sony SXRD® 4K projector is the system’s technology backbone which delivers 4K resolution (4096x2160 native, unblended pixels) for a spectacular image with no visible pixels on the screen.
