IICRT Launches Advanced Diploma in Clinical Data Management

International Institute of Clinical Research & Training (IICRT) is launching the Winter Session of 6-Months Advanced Diploma in Clinical Data Management (AD-CDM) Program from December 27, 2009.

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 19, 2009 -- International Institute of Clinical Research & Training (IICRT) is launching the Winter Session of 6-Months Advanced Diploma in Clinical Data Management (AD-CDM) Program from December 27, 2009. The program targets pharmaceutical companies that need trained professionals for their data management functions during clinical trials and research activities.

Being introduced in Delhi and Mumbai, the program will include collection, normalization, editing, and auditing of clinical research data from various sources in a centralized database. Offering complete exposure to Clinical Data Management Process in adherence with rules and data model set by Clinical Data Interchange Standards, this diploma program will trains the students in data management and statistical analysis plan development for clinical trials, setup and design databases, capturing data, review data and present intelligent safety and efficacy reports.

The candidates who can take part in this program should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Sciences, Computer, Biotech, or Pharmacy. Healthcare professionals, medical technologists, and those with degrees in Allied Health Fields can also participate in the program. The only such program in India that offers hands-on practical training, AD-CDM introduces its participants to software and project management techniques that are used by clinical research institutions at the global level.

The institute plans to limit the admission to 30 candidates in the Winter Session of AD-CDM at each location to allow full focus on each individual. IICRT also offers Job Placement Assistance to all its students that include services of a Placement Coordinator and 10 hours externship with a local employer.
