IKAB Presents a Summary of The Fifty Greatest Novels of All Time.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) July 11, 2011 --
Normally IKAB looks forward to being controversial…and a list of the supposed greatest novels would no doubt create a great deal of controversy. However, IKAB’s singular contribution to this exercise was to round up the usual and most popular suspects from a variety of sources and put them in alphabetical order. (We would never be so presumptuous as to rank these.)
A few facts about the list--
John Steinbeck has 3 novels on the list and Ayn Rand has 2 as does Shakespeare.
The oldest is Hamlet (1600) and the latest is Beloved (1987).

Welcome visit Our WebSite:
http://www.IndieKindleAuthors.com 28 novels (56%) are from the 20th Century; 17 (34%) are from the 19th Century; and a total of 5 are from the 17th and 18th Centuries.
Zero are from the present Century with only one novel on the list published later than 1970.
There is no doubt that it will be impossible to find 2 people who will be in total agreement on this list. Nevertheless, everyone would have to admit that there are some great books listed above…and agree than Art and Subjectivity just go hand in hand…and good writing has been around for a very long time.
The list of great reads along with the key information sources can be viewed on IKAB’s site—www.IndieKindleAuthors.com,
