(Free-Press-Release.com) February 23, 2011 --
On February 21st, 2011, Jordan Cardwell, Josh Lenhardt and Aleksander Jovic wrote and created a brand new webcomic, www.imagine-industries.com! The release has been an idea that was born 5 years ago, has been in the making for over 13 months and is now finally live and ready for viewing!
Jordan Cardwell and Josh Lenhardt both work as servers at the Olive Garden and have both shared a love for webcomics for the better part of a decade. They co-write Imagine Industries, and have also been friends for the last 3 years. While creating the idea for Imagine Industries they were lucky enough to stumble upon their artist, Aleksander Jovic. Aleksander, or "Sale", replied to a "looking for artist" ad that Jordan and Josh had posted on an online forum while searching for an artist for the webcomic.
"Imagine Industries is a publicly traded and highly successful company on the verge of major technological and financial breakthrough. What’s their secret you ask? Well, I’ll tell you…they don’t make or do anything at all. They profit solely on earning the confidence of investors who have been blinded by promises of quick cash and unlimited potential…
but that’s just the background; Imagine Industries, the comic, is about the misadventures of the people who work in the building for the company that does nothing. This is their story…".
This is just a small idea for the beginning of whats to be expected at Imagine Industries, but there is a lot more in store for the future of the comic.
Not only does the site offer comics that are updated every Monday and Friday; but every Wednesday a post is updated that is titled "While You Were Working". This section of the site is intended to be a review post for video games, movies, and other forms of entertainment that any of the 3 creators can write about.
Their first day of release they generated 718 individual views, which included hits from 42 individual states, and 11 different countries. A co-worker of Josh and Jordan's states, "I really feel as though there is great content on the site for all different types of people. Its not just geared towards traditional webcomic audiences, but can be thoroughly enjoyed by anyone who visits their site."
The future plans for the site are to continue to grow and expand to run different types of updates every single day. At the moment, Jordan, Josh and Sale are all working other jobs, but are putting any extra time and energy into the site, hoping to continue to generate a steady following of dedicated readers. Make sure and check it out, its www.imagine-industries.com!
