IMI, LIBA, Great Lakes & XIME to close application on Feb 29; Act Now!

IMI Delhi, Kolkata & Bhubaneswar

While International Management Institute (IMI) Bhubaneswar and Kolkata application deadlines on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, IMI Delhi reopened the application process which is also ending on the same date as the other two campuses of IMI.

The cut off for IMI Delhi is 90 percentile and above. IMI accepts CAT scores. The candidates who have completed their graduation with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate from a recognized University are eligible to apply. “The bachelors’ degree or equivalent qualification obtained by you must entail a minimum of three years education after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent,” IMI mentions.

The application fee is Rs. 1900.

LIBA Chennai

The last date to apply for Loyola Institute of Business Administration Chennai has been extended till February 29, 2012. The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and should have secured a minimum of 60 per cent marks in aggregate. LIBA Chennai is accepting CAT & XAT scores and the cut off is 85 percentile and above.

The final selection will take place on the basis of Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds from March 17 to April 4, 2012.

Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai

The last date to apply for the First Cycle of Application at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai is Wednesday, February 29, 2012. The MBA entrance exams through which you can apply are CAT, XAT, MAT and CMAT. The candidates will be shortlisted solely on the basis of their profiles. Candidates should have 0-2 years of work experience. Freshers can also apply.

The shortlisted candidates will have to undergo GD and PI processes. The final selection process will give due weightages on the MBA entrance exam scores, graduation marks, work experience, GD and PI. The GD and PI rounds will take place from March 16, 2012 to March 24, 2012. The application fee is Rs. 1, 500.

XIME Bangalore

Xavier Institute Management and Entrepreneurship Bangalore will accept the scores of CAT and XAT. The cutoff of the institute for CAT and XAT is 70 percentile and above. The final selection would take place on the basis of Essay Writing, Group Discussion and Personal Interview of the shortlisted candidates. The Essay, GD & PI processes will be held from March 4 to March 28, 2012.

Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (all subjects taken together). Candidates who are appearing for their final year examination and are awaiting their results can also apply.
