Mr. Walker is a credentialed High School Guidance Counselor with a Masters of Science in Counseling and is a credentialed K-12 Special Education teacher. Mr. Walker has fifteen years experience teaching middle school students and high school students and was a Professor of Military Science at the University of Virginia. He is a former Marine Infantry Officer and now is retired to the Fleet Marine Reserves. He is still teaching high school and discovered that he could fill a much-needed niche in the private sector by matching qualified tutors with students who need help. “My clients really love the fact that I personally meet them and their children to assess their educational needs, personality and learning style before matching them with the perfect tutor. They don’t have to travel to a learning center; we accommodate their schedule and come to them. Mr. Walker has developed a niche market for his company that that has proved quite popular. He acts as an educational consultant for students and parents who might need more information about career choices. “This has been a lot of fun for me because I teach students and parents to develop a five year plan. If they want to get into Harvard they have to have a dedicated plan. If they want to be a fireman or police officer they have to have a plan…its not as easy as taking a civil service exam. If they want to join the military the choices they have to make are endless. If I help them get the most out of their military enlistment I’ve done my job!”

Mr. Walker, has developed a network of credentialed teachers and qualified tutors who tutor all grades and subjects, kindergarten through twelfth grade. The tutors don’t have to spend their money on ads to attract clients, Mr. Walker does it all in the role of a tutor broker.
