In the Working Process of Ball Mill Maintaining

1. Grinding load inspection. The ore grinding load contains the original feed quantity and the sand return quantity. To ensure the constant, stable of the ore grinding load of ball mill is the important factor to achieve fine ore grinding effect. a. Keep the ore feed quantity constant and stable and check the ore feed quantity regularly; b. Observe the change of ore feeding granularity at all times, adjust in time and try to keep the material in feed bin more than in discharge bin; c. Watch the situation of sand return and moisturizing, to keep balance among the original feed ore, sand return, and overflow; d. Notice the change of motor, electric current, and the ball mill sound so that you can judge the ball mill load situation by that and eliminate the bulging in initial phase.

2.Inspection on the equipment and its subsidiary facilities. (1) The ball mill inspection: a. Check the loose screws, the loose, broken screws on the lining plate in particular, which may lead to leakage; b. Check the wear pattern of the sand return spoon head; c. Pay attention to the coarse running and ball vomiting of the ball mill discharge. (2) The oil feeding system inspection: a. Check the oil pressure constantly to keep it within the range of 1.520kg/cm2;b. Check the oil mass and temperature, and the temperature should be less than 30 degree centigrade; c. Check the king journal oil flow distribution of the ball mill to keep them well-distributed; d. Check the viscosity and cleanness of the oil. (3) The motor and electrical appliance inspection: Mainly check the motor temperature and make the temperature rise within the allowable value. (4) The Classifier equipment inspection: a. Check the blades of the Spiral Classifier to make sure all is on and the rolling is stable; b. Check whether the whirlcone feeding pressure of ball mill is stable, and there are leakage or clogging.

3. The ore grinding graded product quality control inspection. The ore grinding product quality of ball mill mainly refers to the quality score and fineness of the grading overflow which has direct influence on the follow-up separation process and needed to be measured, observed, test, and adjusted frequently

In all , the operator of ball mill unit move around, check, test, adjust, observe frequently, and notice the change of sound to make sure the ball mill unit is in the best working condition so that a fine ore grinding effect can be achieved.
