Indian IT Outsourcing Makes a Bang in 2010 !

Indian Outsourcing has successfully left its strong footprints on the global outsourcing map by bringing in around US$60 billion as the year 2010 draws to a close. It’s indeed an incredible growth rate of 25 percent a year.

The total global offshore outsourcing market is worth approximately $300 billion of which India has grabbed a lion’s share. As reflected by the NASSCOM-McKinsey report, around @110 billion was outsourced in 2010.

Major technology companies & software-enabled businesses worldwide have augmented their software outsourcing mission to Indian offshore outsourcing companies like the famous IT giant Microsoft Corporate announced recently that it would be increasing its staff in India from 4,000 to 7,000 in next 3—4 years.

If we take a glance at the top 100 outsourcing companies in 2010, we would find that Indian IT giant, Infosys Technologies, has secured 2nd position in the list; Wipro Technologies 4th position; Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) 7th position; ACS 11th position; Genpact 20th position; Neusoft 26th position; HCL Technologies 32th position; iGATE Global Solutions 35th position; MindTree 43rd position; Tech Mahindra 44th position; Mastek 46th position; ITC Infotech 49th position; Patni Computer Systems 56th position; WNS Global Services 58th position; Intelligroup 64th position; Hinduja Global Solutions 73rd position and MERA Networks 84th position.
