Infinit Outsourcing Inc. Co-Founder, Richard Eldridge Discusses Social Media at the 2010 Ayala Group ICT Summit

In a presentation entitled “New Media – Opportunities and Threats”, Richard discussed the immense potential, and also the great threat, that social media presents to a company.

“By harnessing the power of social media, we are tapping into the potential of the 1.3 billion people who are active internet users worldwide and engaging with the 20 million bloggers who are influencing perception right now,” he remarked.
“Compare it to before, with traditional media, only a small percentage had access to a global reach. Now with social media, 140 characters from any one person could reach thousands of people all over the globe in a matter of minutes.”
