Information for testing and checking ball mill load

Ball mill load is the most important parameter optimized in the Ball Mill Pulverizing System (BMPS) in Thermal Power Plant. The accurate measurement of ball mill load is imperative and difficult. The approach based on self-adaptive feature extraction algorithm for noise signal and LS-SVM model is proposed to achieve this purpose. By analyzing the sensitivity distributions of working condition transitions, the characteristic power spectrum (CPS) is obtained. Then the self-adaptive weights can be calculated based on the CPS and the centroid frequency. The extracted features of the mill noise using this method show good adaptability to working condition transitions.

No-load test is not installed in the media (balls, rods), and material circumstances idling. Continuous operation of not less than 4h, generally run 8 ~ 16h, according to specific circumstances. The longer the test, the main bearings, gear tooth surface the better the research together.

Several no-load test should meet the following requirements:

1) the normal lubrication of lubrication points, there is no leakage.

2) mill main bearing temperature should not exceed 50 ℃.

3) mill smooth operation, no abnormal noise gear drive.

4) no loose liner and the transmission parts.

5) meet the maintenance requirements of running ministries.

When the required idle time, stop the mill running, carefully check all working parts, liner bolts tightened to eliminate the defects found.

After passing through the no-load test, load test before proceeding. To gradually feed the load test until the full load. After feeding in the normal operation of 10 ~ 20 h.

Load operation should meet the following requirements:

1) work smoothly without periodic sharp vibration.

2) The main motor current no abnormal fluctuations.

3) the normal lubrication of lubrication points, the main bearing temperature does not exceed 60 ℃.

4) mill working part of the bolt into the hole, the flange surface and the seal with no leakage, leakage pulp and so on.
