Gets Your Dog To Stop Going Inside... This Dog Potty Training Method Works When You Apply It.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) December 6, 2009 -- Here is one really good effective method for training your
dog to go potty outside or wherever you want him or her
to go...

You can put up a training bell at your door of preference
where you want your pooch to go whether it be out in the
back yard or out in the front yard (that is if you have a fence around
your front yard of course). You can hang it from a decorative wall
hook or anything that might be right at your door of preference.
It is extremely important that you don't hang the bell from the

door knob because your dog will grow numb to the sound of it as
it will ring every time somebody uses the door to go in or out.
You will have to train him or her to hit the bell with their
nose before you take them outside.

How do you do that? Easy.

The most important part is training yourself to do it and most
importantly staying consistent with it.

It is best to get into a routine before applying this potty
training technique with your dog. What I mean is this: let's say
that your dog wakes up from a nap inside, well at that very moment

when he or she wakes up, take them immediately to the door that
has the bell near it and if you are holding him or her, just gently
hit the bell with their nose, then proceed to go outside
to let them go do their business. You should also take them to the
same spot outside each time as well. Now, when they do their
business outside be sure to use a lot of praise when they go.
It is important not to continually praise them while they are going
because it will mislead your dog into thinking that they are getting
praised just for going outside and not for going potty outside. Which

is the main reason why you are applying this technique. When he or she
is all finished, take him back inside and just carry on with whatever
it was that you were doing.

Now, as I mentioned earlier, YOU, most importantly have to stay consistent
in doing this because what you are doing is subconsiously training your dog
to repeat this behavior. Before you know it he or she will be trained at
letting you know when he or she has to be let out to go potty.

Have you ever heard of the saying, "it takes 21 days to develop a habit"?

Well it is true and it doesn't just apply to humans. It applies to dogs too.
What I am implying is that you should repeat this routine for at least 21
days for it to work for you, effectively.

As with all things in life you reap what you sow, so by sowing this potty
training technique into your dog at any age whether he or she is just a pup
or is full grown, you will soon begin to reap the rewards (or should I say
the painlessness) of not having to clean up poop or pee inside your home.

Hope that doggy potty training technique gave you some good ideas of your
own.

Take care and I will talk to you soon
