Initials, letters, monograms. To many, they are defining symbols that have particular meaning. A family initial, a new last name due to marriage or adoption, the first letter of your children’s names. President of Everlasting Memories, Casey Doran, noted a rising trend in the use of letters as accessories and worked with designers to come up with a new line of cremation jewelry that was elegant and personal. From the style of the letters to the different available finishes, the keepsakes promise to give consumers a private way to honor those that have passed away.
Letter fonts and styles number into the hundreds and the way in which letters are formed and written has been studied for decades. “A lot of research went into picking the right style and shape of the letter,” says Doran. “People are grieving and we felt strongly that the pendant had to have a softer approach, a warmth that you don’t associate with when you see strong bold blocky style lettering.” The end result was a flowing italicized capital letter that is elegant without being overdone. “The initials look like a monogram and we took it a step further and offer them in four finishes – rhodium, black rhodium, gold and rose gold. The finishes are plated over sterling silver and the overall effect is stunning.” Doran notes that the letter pendants have been popular with customers as it gives customers the option of remembering a loved one based off of the deceased initials or the customer can choose their own.
Names, first, last and middle initials, hold particular meaning and play a role in the lives of many consumers. Everlasting Memories has taken memorializing to the next level by giving consumers a new line of initial pendants. The design is warm and simple and the interior of each letter will hold a small tribute to those that have passed away. The letters are available in four distinct finishes which allows consumers to choose what suits their individual sense of style.
Everlasting Memories was founded in 2003 and has a distinct selection of unique and modern initial cremation jewelry, cremation urns and memorial jewelry that pays tribute to family and pets that have passed away. Their online resource center features a wide assortment of tips, hints and articles about monogram keepsake pendants and cremation related topics.
