The Innoband ConneXt features widely adopted 802.11g technology and enables Internet ready devices such as TV, DVD player and Set-top-box quick access to content with zero setup. The devices came pre-configured with wireless security and Mac address pairing for rock solid wireless security. Its direct connect mechanism ensures that bandwidth is not shared with other local area wireless devices which is critical for bandwidth intensive video streaming applications that are becoming ever more popular.

The unit comes with a toggle switch for two possible modes of operation: relay or direct. The relay mode was designed to allow any Internet ready device with an Ethernet port to gain access to the Internet seamlessly. Simply connect one 200W-A1 to the back of a router and the other 200W-A1 to the back of the Internet ready device. Secured connection is established within a few seconds after pairing. The direct mode was designed to connect two game consoles wirelessly. The direct mode option allows two game consoles to quickly connect with for exciting LAN gaming.

The unit has three LEDs that clearly show the current state of the device for power, Ethernet connectivity and wireless connectivity in one quick glance. There is no need to fumble through the manual just to understand what the device is doing.
