The specialized public high school serves 500 students representing over 40 cities, and is run by Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE). Serving as a viable alternative to large public high schools or tuition-based institutions, iPoly provides challenging college preparatory curriculum, encourages concurrent college enrollment at Cal Poly and surrounding community colleges, and centers on innovative hands-on Project-Based Learning.

Averaging a 99% graduation rate, 94% of iPoly students attend college immediately following graduation– half of which will be first-generation college students. Academically eligible students must complete an application and pass an entrance exam to attend. Spaces are limited.
