Intellient’s Solutions Manager at IT Architecture in Finance Event

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 19, 2011 -- 14 September 2011, Johannesburg, South Africa – Solutions Manager at Intellient, Charl du Toit, will be giving a presentation on Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) in the Financial Services industry at the IT Architecture in Finance Conference and Exhibition from 12-14 October 2011. The conference, which will take place at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways, Johannesburg, will be bringing a range of leading enterprise architects, system engineers and other professionals in the IT architecture and finance sector together to discuss and partake in solution finding for the industry.

Charl du Toit from Intellient says: “I have been working in the BI/EPM field for the last 16 years, specialising in positioning and implementing OLAP, BI, data warehousing and planning solutions for a broad range of clients over various industries. As a Solutions Manager for Hyperion Planning, Analytical and Business Intelligence tools, du Toit is involved in a variety of product implementation projects, specifically Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Data Relationship Management, Hyperion Performance Scorecard, and the Hyperion BI tools.

Du Toit’s presentation at the conference will focus on how Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) offerings from Oracle and EOH can be implemented to provide unique solutions for clients within the financial industry.

“The types of projects I’m involved in on a daily basis include business analysis, solution design, physical solution building, quality control, project management and mentoring of consultants. I’ve worked with a range of clients, including MTN, Old Mutual, Woolworths, Nissan, ACSA and Sanlam, which has enabled me to provide innovative Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions that target and solve their specific business needs,” continues du Toit.

“During my presentation, I’m going to be covering the concept of EPM and discussing questions such as how EPM is applicable to the financial industry and; how EPM should be architecture and implemented.
