F8 is described as a number of "web shorts" that will be aired over 8 weeks. Each week, viewers will be asked vote on the next factor of the captives situation; essentially playing the "criminal" while watching the game play out. From choices of the victim to the torture endured, Binko expressed via Twitter that viewers essentially "call the shots".

While Binko has expressed excitement regarding the development of future F8 releases, the opening season will serve as a "test run" for which the series will follow. Volunteering himself as the first captive, Binko encourages viewers to participate actively; building the foundation for later seasons.

"This first season isn't going to be big budget, but it will pave the way for how I film and operate the show in the future. I encourage you to participate actively and share your honest feedback. This is your story."
