International College Counselors announces the 2011 INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE COUNSELORS SCHOLARSHIP.

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 31, 2011 -- MIAMI, Florida— International College Counselors is now accepting entries for the 2011 INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE COUNSELORS SCHOLARSHIP.

All students in grades 9 to 12 can participate. This includes all students from public, private, and home schools.

A 500 word essay is required that answers the question: What makes a good college education?

Five scholarships will be awarded. Three winners will be chosen from within Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County. One winner will be selected from the U.S. outside Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County. An additional winner will be selected from outside the U.S. who wishes to attend college in the U.S. All five winners will receive a $250 scholarship provided by International College Counselors.

Students do not need to be clients of International College Counselors to enter or to win this annual scholarship competition.

International College Counselors High School Essay Contest has established a Scholarship Fund to increase awareness of the value of higher education among high school students, as well as to give financial aid for tuition to college-bound students.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is April 1, 2011
