International College Counselors Names Cheryl Delaney As Senior College Advisor of Greater New York

Miami, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 4, 2012 -- WHITE PLAINS, NY (January 5, 2011) - International College Counselors is pleased to announce the appointment of Cheryl Delaney to the position of Senior College Advisor of Greater New York. Delaney will work one-on-one with graduate and undergraduate students in New York and around the world, advising and guiding them through the college admission process.

Delaney’s college counseling expertise includes college selection, college admissions essay writing, interview preparation, high school planning, scholarship help and more.

In addition to providing college advisement throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, college advisor Delaney will provide advice and guidance to international students engaged in the college admission process, if the students wish to attend a school in the United States. She will work out of International College Counselors’ White Plains office.

New York college advisor Delaney is a New York State certified K-12 school counselor. She has worked as a college advisor, substitute teacher and school counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Boston University’s College of Communication and a Master of Science in Education from the CACREP accredited counseling program at Lehman College of the City University of New York. At Lehman, Delaney was inducted into Chi Sigma Iota, the Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society International.

Before discovering her talent for college counseling, International College Counselors’ New York college advisor Delaney spent nearly two decades in New York City as a marketing and communication professional. She did B2B marketing at several Am Law 200 firms and managed Fortune 1000 clients from the advertising/promotions agency side.
