Wheel management requires routine measurements of the wheel that typically have been taken by a significant labor force using mechanical gauges. Historically, this method is inherently affected by human error, climate and weather conditions, subjective measurements and transcription errors.
James Skaggs, Director of Sales, said “Our WISE system is an exciting development encompassing patented designs combining laser scanning and high-speed imaging to provide cost effective and innovative solution”.
In addition, IEM recently introduced the new, Mini-Electronic Wheel Gauge. The latest EWG integrates the controller, keypad, sensor and LCD screen into a single unit, weighing less while offering greater maneuverability, versatility and improved operability.
About IEM:
IEM develops, produces, and markets innovative imaging, optical, and other sensor based systems for safety and security applications in the intelligent transportation system industry. By combining innovative sensor systems with advanced software, IEM creates intelligent solutions for use in vehicle inspection, security monitoring, maintenance activities, and more.
