International Forgiveness & Reconciliation Week Will Honor Veterans on Veteran’s Day

International Forgiveness & Reconciliation Week is celebrating Veterans with 3 prayer conference calls in their honor on Veteran's Day. Many Veterans feel angry, abandoned, hurt, and many have turned away from God. Letitia Peters, founder of International Spiritual Awakening Ministries, states, “I remember my uncle who passed away at a young age after serving in Vietnam. We would visit him every week in a nursing home. It was heartbreaking as a child to see him like that. Many men and women, like my uncle returned home from war after fighting for our nation so that we would have the freedom that we have today. I know that prayer works. In addition, I pray that others will join me in making a donation to help our Veterans. They are our fellow Americans let's help them. Will you join us?"

Criteria For Your Prayers To Be Answered:

In order for your prayers to be answered first, you must have faith in God. In other words, you must be saved by saying these words: “ I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is LORD & Savior over my life and I believe in my heart & confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Son of God & that God raised Him from the dead. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Then you must have no unforgiveness or grudge against anyone, no doubt, believe that you will receive, whatever you are requesting, as long as it is good for God's Kingdom and obey His commandments. You should keep praying while waiting patiently for Him to answer your prayers. In addition, you can fast. Fasting means going without food to spend time in prayer. God hears your prayers when you are fasting & you have helped others. "Some mountains are more difficult as stated in Matthew 17:21, "But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." By fasting, one shows discipline, humility before God, and faith. It is pleasing to God when we have a genuine compassion to others as well. In Isaiah 58:5-11, it states that fasting does the following: (1) Fasting allows the person to show humility before God; (2) loosens the bonds of wickedness; & (3) will undo the bands of the yoke. As a result, God promises the following: (1) your recovery will speedily spring forth; (2) God will cover your back; (3) God promises to answer quickly when you call, your light will rise in darkness; & (4) the Lord will continually guide you through future troubles. In Matthew 6:17-18, Jesus Christ states, "But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you openly."

Veteran’s Day Conference Calls: We will host 3 conference calls on November 11, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., noon to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST. There will be no 8:00 PM conference call. If you can't join us on the conference calls, then we would like you to say a prayer even if it's the Lord's Prayer with us during those times. International Forgiveness & Reconciliation Week Schedule:

There are 2 ways that you can forgive others: (1) by praying & releasing that person to God; a prayer of forgiveness is on the website or (2) by confronting the offender/perpetuator and ask for forgiveness as stated in Luke 17:3, “if he repents. “So watch yourselves. “If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.”

November 8, 2011- Forgive your family
November 9, 2011- Forgive your friends, neighbors, classmates, co-workers, enemies and/or forgive people of different ethnic & racial backgrounds

November 10, 2011- Forgive National Leaders & other Nations- promote national healing & reconciliation. In order to do this, there should be confession, repentance, & forgiveness in order for reconciliation to take place in America & in all nations. National leaders may want to investigate past & present injustices/atrocities, i.e. human rights violations or crimes against humanity, by conducting public hearings & investigations. Reconciliation cannot happen unless TRUTH is revealed.
November 11, 2011- Veteran’s Day- Veterans, are you harboring anger, bitterness, resentment, or hatred? Bless you and thank you Veterans for your courage in protecting our nation for freedom.
November 12, 2011- Forgive Church/Religious Leaders & Community Leaders- church leaders & community leaders to help communities with forgiveness, healing, reconciling broken relationships & help people to overcome their bitterness & resentment.
November 13, 2011- Forgive yourself or self-forgiveness

November 14, 2011- Children’s &Teens’ Forgiveness Day- Parents should teach them about forgiveness
