After what seems like an eternity, Jonathan Gruwald finally received the call he’s been waiting for. While he didn’t get the job he interviewed for, at least he did get one thing…an answer.
A story like his plays out in America thousands of times per day. Unfortunately, the majority of job candidates are seldom told whether the job they interviewed for has been filled, cancelled or simply forgotten about. There is even a term created especially for this situation, we know it as the interview “waiting game.”
So what can millions of employers and interviewers do?
InterviewStatus.com was created as a way for both job candidates and employers to utitlize this free web-based application to keep track of the interview status.
Here is how it works. The interviewer creates a free account at InterviewStatus.com and receives an original “job code” for each available job opening. This code is provide to each job seeker who interviews for that specific position. Once at home, the job seeker registers and enters the job code they recieved. That’s all there is to it. Each time the Employer makes a change to the status of the interview, an automatic email is sent to the job candidate.
InterviewStatus.com was developed for the benefit of all users involved. The Employer has more time to work on important Human Resources issues and curtail unnecessary phone calls & emails from job candidates. While the job candidates receive Real-Time interview status updates.
The interview process is tough enough to get through. While InterviewStatus.com can’t promise you’ll get the job, we can at least try to “End the Waiting Game.”
