Introducing SHL Pharma: A Greener Approach

Deerfield Beach, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) June 29, 2011 -- SHL Group is proud to introduce SHL Pharma, a facility built with a greener approach providing final assembly, labeling and packaging services of drug delivery devices such as autoinjectors for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

The addition of SHL Pharma means we can now take projects from design to distribution, providing a business model that makes even more sense for our customers. To ensure the automation equipment in-house are designed to accommodate specific assembly needs, many of the machines have also been built by SHL Automation. As a result, special details related to the device’s assembly can be communicated and integrated into the machine design.

Promoting Greener concepts and implementations is an ongoing effort at SHL and can be seen at the brand new SHL Pharma facility, where LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) guidelines have been implemented.
