Deeper than the Wu, and with a vibe similar to 3-6 Mafia and Bones Thugs N Harmony, this is a hip hop team that includes both rappers as well as harmonizing singers. Translation: this group won’t be teaming with the latest R&B star for garden variety collaboration.

Therein lies the name of the group: they are a threat to those in the game who refuse to think outside of the box and distinguish themselves. Back in 2008, when Yung Brezzy and Machete came together and recorded their first song together “Shorty Mad At Me” featuring AC. After the collaboration Yung Brezzy realized that the sums of them were so much greater than the parts. Voila! Triple Threat was born. After performing at a showcase Brezzy heard about it was the groups’ loss that actually motivated them to record a song called “Where They Do That At?”

From the positive reaction to the song, and the buzz generated from it, the group knew they had a hit! The next time the showcase came back to their city, the outcome was decidedly different. Since then, they have been on the grind like never before. Currently they have a hot record buzzing in their city called “Plenty Money,” the first single from their mixtape “Unadulterated” hosted by Dj Millz, which they released March 21, 2011. Considering themselves a fusion of R&B and hip hop, Triple Threat consists of Ebone, a rapper and the singer; co-founders Machete and Yung Brezzy who are rappers; other members who spit are: Super Kool, Mr. X Rated, and Yung Gutta. There are others in the group but these are just the front liners. Every single one of them is young, motivated, hungry, and ready for success. If their influences are any indication, they are headed right there.

Triple Threat’s goal is to become the first group from Montgomery, Al to become a Hip Hop household name. With their commitment to grind there is no reason they can't see their dreams come to fruition.
