The design, available in Spring 2012, will feature a 500D CORDURA® Classic fabric shell. The Headwater life jacket is specifically designed for the unique demands of law enforcement and EMT professionals in high-intensity water work offering extra buoyancy, generous reflective panels, MAS air flow interior for ventilation, and rugged durability.

MTI Adventurewear designers selected 500D CORDURA® Classic fabric for its rugged durable performance and exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The jacket features adjustable shoulders reinforced with 1.5 inch wide webbing that extends back to front in a single piece. The Headwater life jacket also features four crotch strap D-rings, two stretch mesh pockets, two fleece lined hand warming pockets, and two large cargo pockets-one with antenna slip.

The Headwater life jacket will be available in black and grey, sizes XS/S, M/L, XL/XXL and has a 26-pound five ounce buoyancy. The Headwater life jacket is a United States Coast Guard Type III Vest and does not require swiftwater rescue training to wear.
