iParty Opens Its First Permanent Store In Boston And It Has A Twist!

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 19, 2010 -- Dedham, MA – iParty, the region’s largest party retailer, has opened a new permanent location in downtown Boston. “iParty with a Twist” is located at 356 Boylston St. (across from the Arlington T Stop) and is open Sunday 11-5, Monday thru Thursday 10-7, Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-7.

In 2009, iParty opened at this location as a temporary Halloween store. It was so well received that the company decided to stay on Boylston Street year-round. The “with a Twist” concept is a new idea from the company designed to provide options for more adult oriented parties and occasions such as bachelor/bachelorette, adult birthdays and theme parties.

“We are very excited to be in downtown Boston,” says Sal Perisano, CEO and co-founder of iParty. “We chose to turn this temporary store into a permanent store because we saw that we were filling a desired niche in the city. We hope to become the one-stop shop for party needs of area residents.”

Located in the heart of the city, the Boylston St. store is 7,000s.f. and just minutes away from many area colleges and workplaces. One can expect to find all the fun stuff iParty carries to celebrate events for all ages, baby and wedding showers, graduations and retirements. The location will feature party essentials and fun dress up items for theme parties like Academy Awards, Cinco de Mayo and the decades from 50’s through the 80’s. The store will also carry parade wear for St. Pat’s, Fourth of July or Gay Pride events. In addition, an extensive assortment of boas, Leg Avenue and Dream Girl stockings and petticoats are available. A separate room is dedicated to Bachelorette and Girls Night Out party items. Sports parties are covered, with a wide assortment of products to celebrate all the Boston teams.

“The intention is to make this location a place for everyday laughs, a low cost bit of fun in one’s workday,” Perisano says. “It’s a place where you can satisfy a sweet tooth with Lake Champlain chocolate or candy necklaces, find an outfit for tonight’s Pub Crawl , or pick up a disco ball for your cube.”
