Louisville, Kentucky, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) June 3, 2011 -- IronBody Fitness, a proud member of the Fitness Revolution Nation, is holding a Charity Fund Raiser for The Humane Society of Oldham County and their Camp Canine Program.

The Camp Canine program pairs dogs from HSOC with prisoners from the Luther Luckett Correctional Facility. The prisoners are low risk offenders who have been screened to make sure they can work with the dogs. The dogs stay with the prisoners for 8 weeks and are trained to be AKC Good Citizens. They pass a battery of tests to make sure they know the basic commands and are not a threat to other dogs or people.

IronBody Fitness owner Dave Randolph and his fiance Cheryl Wiesemann have adopted a dog from this program and say she is the best dog you could ever want. Friendly, obedient and plays well with their other dog, Cash, who was adopted from Metro Louisville Animal Services last June.

The Fund Raiser will be in the form of a cookout and a fitness challenge to be held at the IronBody Fitness facility, 2508 Plantside Dr, Louisville, Ky 40299. It's in the Bluegrass Industrial Park next to Bluegrass Martial Arts.

The challenge is designed so that anyone who is in decent shape can participate. The even is free but they are asking for a $10 per person donation which will go to the Humane Society of Oldham County. The HSOC will have a representative at the event along with one of their dogs.
