Is He Better Than Lebron James? I had the chance to see up close in person 5'10" 170 pound freshman guard (William Perry) aka Will, the newest High School NBA Prospect from Dallas Texas, as he took on the MacArthur Cardinals high school team in Irving Texas, that CUT him, yes I'll say it again CUT him from their team just a few months prior to this game! And all I can say is... its amazing how far the coach of MacAthur mouth hung low the entire game as #21 William Perry from Irving High School scorched the entire team all four quarters! Dropping in 15 points, 4 rebounds, 5 steals, 3 assists, and 1 block, this kid could've easily scored 25-30 points EASY but playing team ball, and focusing on Defense, Will played a complete game, that had the crowd quiet on one side and cheering on the other!

It was funny how after the game, the opposing coach couldnt even look at the player he cut from his team, but Will was later greeted with high fives and hand shakes by coaches and players from his old school. Asked how it felt to come back to his old school and get revenge on the team that didnt believe in him, William Perry just smiled and said this game was highlighted on the schedule from day one! More known as a defensive stopper very close to Gary Payton with his quickness on defense, Perry can be called a shut down guard, creating on average 3 steals a game guarding teams best scorers night in and night out, Perry put on a offensive clinic raining 3 pointers to driving to the goal for and 1's, it was a game to see as they pulled away and won by 20+ points!


First there was Michael Jordan... Then came Kobe Bryant... Waiting in line is Lebron James... and NOW theres William Perry from the Dallas Texas area! Is he the next GREAT ONE??? All I can say is... NBA fans get ya popcorn ready, cause this kid is for sure on his way!
