Aetos Media, a Nagpur-based pro-shoppers company, has launched a new multi-brand discount card – “OCity Bachat Card”. It will empower its holder to get attractive discounts on all the brands that have associated themselves with the company.
The card's companion website (http://www.aetosmedia.co.in) will list the participating businesses, along with specific deals cardholders can get.
“It will increase brand-consumption and help spread brand-consciousness among shoppers. With great discounts which is usually built-in with a card of this nature and the long list of shoppers, big and small, that have agreed to support the card, we have every reason to conclude that “OCity Bachat Card” is definitely for you,” said Sachin Mittal, the top head of Aetos Media Pvt. Ltd., at the recent launch of the “OCity Bachat Card” in Nagpur, popularly known as the "Orange city".
Benefits to be derived from the new “OCity Bachat Card” for both vendor and consumer are tremendous. For instance, a vendor will see a noticeable rise in sales as the number of card holders soars. “It will help promote our brand among die-hard shoppers and foodies,” notes Mr. Gupta, owner of Bawarchi chain of multi-cuisine restaurants.
As it relates to the shopper’s benefit, the new multi-brand discount card will provide discount for a host of items, such as shoes, wallet, clothing, restaurants, malls and personalized gifts. The discounts range from 5% to 40%. According to Ritesh Billore, Director of Aetos Media, “the ‘OCity Bachat Card’ is a must for the upwardly-mobile, brand-conscious consumer.”
A unique feature of this card is that the first word in the card’s name (i.e. OCity) is a tribute and an indication that the idea of it originated from this great ‘City of Oranges’. And so far, more than 80 brands and vendors have associated themselves with the card, including Baari furniture, Cofee ‘N’ U, Trans Fitness, A.K.Gandhi and Dass Jewelers.
"I think everyone knows the state of our economy right now, and our businesses large and small are looking for all the business they can get," said Mr. Gandhi of A.K.Gandhi, a well-known and reputed name in consumer electronics niche.
In association with the issuing of the card, the company has also disclosed that it be providing a free magazine, Shopalicious, to all who purchase the card. The magazine will feature the latest trends in fashion, plus a listing and information on all the vendors and brands associated with the card.
