FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 19, 2010 --With only a few weeks to go before the Fifa World Cup arrives in South Africa the talk in all the bars and cafés should be about Messi or Rooney, England or Brazil but instead the talk is not of football but of the terrible violent end to Eugene Terre’Blanche violent death and the subsequent outbursts from all sides fracturing the already fragile illusion of racial harmony and the image of a rainbow nation South Africa wants the world to see.

As Julias Malema the hot headed outspoken and often controversial leader of the ANC Youth League and often the person to become a future president of the South Africa is continuing to sing “Shoot a Boer” or translated means “Shoot a white Farmer” at all his official ANC youth rallies. Even with a court action pending he refuses to accept that this attitude may be inciting racial divides which his elders worked so tirelessly to overcome. His stance is popular amongst his supporters who seem to enjoy raising old race divides as the anthem to unit them.

Young black South Africa is not interested in racial harmony but far more focused on what is in it for them. They are long since disillusioned with what they see as the failing of the current ANC leadership to improve their lives. The black smoke of burning tyres can be seen once again from the townships. This time not against apartheid but against what it has left behind. They are not prepared to take such a philosophical view of the old ANC who forged their politics in Robben Island next to men like Nelson Mandela. Who believed in the teachings of such men as Martin Luther King and Gandhi. The new generation who were not even alive during the struggles are far more interested in putting themselves first and white views seem to play less of a roll than ever in the future South African dream. Leaving millions of white South African feeling like the oppressed and fearful of the future. Whites leaving South Africa is higher now than at any time since the end of apartheid. As reported by Global Visas the unofficial bell weather to South African Immigration.

On the other side to add to the pressure on the stability of the country the white right wing are still active and the murder of Terre’Blanche has allowed the spot light once again their leadership has wasted no opportunity to incite racial hatred and divides. A spokesman for the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging Andre Visagie threatened a black interviewer on national television while other men called another reporter a Baboon.

Fifa is coming to South Africa and the world press will descend on a nation still struggling with its past and what seemed like a peaceful and prosperous future lies in the hands of people more divided than ever. Even though this is not the view of the majority of white South Africans many people still see them as those who benefited and enforced the rules of a brutal and unjust regime just a few years ago.

Global Visas the world’s leading online Immigration company has been operating in South Africa since the release of Nelson Mandela has reported not since to initial white flight directly after apartheid ended have they seen such a volume of ordinary white South Africans asking about leaving their beautiful home. Robbie Ragless a Director of Global Visas stated our enquiries are up some 70% and we hear the same message from all our client’s “No longer are they as concerned about where they qualify to emigrate to. They are far more interested in just getting out.” Robbie went on to say. “Listening to the people contacting us each day there is real fear out there now and that is growing amongst the white population as we also now see a sharp decline in the number of overseas nationals looking to make South Africa their home.”

“We are starting to see more and more South African citizens considering Canada immigration and UK immigration due to the concerns they have. Whilst this has some beneficial implications for us we also want to see more people choosing to come to this beautiful country which has so much to offer and the bad press shouldn’t put people off from what in the most part is a peaceful country.’

Will South Africa endure and come through this new challenge or will 2010 and the FIFA World Cup be remembered not for the goals scored on the pitch but the events that took place off it.

Many roads remain incomplete as does Cape Town airport and other key sites but no one seems to mind calling it the African way. The talk in the café’s and bars remain focused on the changing face of one of the most beautiful countries on earth.
