iSimple® “ maker of innovative technologies that allow people to connect their smartphone, tablet or MP3 player to their car stereo “ has chosen to use yesterday's opening of the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas as an opportunity to formally introduce the world to its next generation car integration kit: the iSimple Connect,. Designed as the successor to the best-selling iSimple GateWay,, the Connect offers all of the premium features of the standard GateWay kit, as well as the ability to connect devices by USB cable or Bluetooth. The Connect is currently available for select General Motors (ISGM651) and Toyota (ISTY651) vehicles and has a MSRP of $229.95. The iSimple Connect can be experienced firsthand at booth 509, LVCC North Hall.

Put plainly, the iSimple Connect expands the audio, entertainment and convenience capabilities of a compatible OEM stereo system by delivering digital quality sound directly from virtually any model of smartphone (including the iPhone 5 and Galaxy SIII), tablet (including the iPad and Galaxy Tab) or MP3 player, as well a portable hard drive or thumb drive. The driver or passenger can control a connected device using the vehicle's factory radio controls (including steering wheel controls) and even safely manage phone calls with the press of a button. Users can connect their device by cable (30 pin, micro USB, standard USB or Lightning) via a dashboard-installable USB port that also delivers 2.1amp charging to smartphones, tablets and more. Users can further enhance the features of their Connect with a number of upgrades including a satellite radio receiver using a SatWire, (ISSR11 or ISSR12) cable, or HD Radio with the NuRadio, (HDRT).

In addition to these vehicles, iSimple is currently developing Connect applications for GM, Ford, Honda, Nissan and Volkswagen vehicles.
