ISLAND DEF JAM Artist Daniel Gray Set To Release New Single "For the Sake Of Fame"

Manhattan, New York, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) October 2, 2011 -- Dance/Pop music artist Daniel Gray has been hard at work writing and recording the follow up to his critically acclaimed album “INVICTUS”, which yielded the hit singles “Lost & Found”, “Cast Away” and “Automatic”. This time around the “Bombastic” singer is back with his new highly anticipated electro/dance single “FOR THE SAKE OF FAME”. The single will premiere simultaneously on radio stations and be available immediately on all digital music platforms Tuesday, October 11th at 12AM EST, with a video release to follow in November 2011.

“For The Sake Of Fame” is produced by new Daniel Gray collaborator DJ Dirty Boy and is the official lead single from his forthcoming album. The as-yet-untitled sophomore album is slated for release in the first quarter of 2012.

Daniel Gray says of his new single, “For The Sake Of Fame”, “The song is a trip-pop, fun thesis statement for my new album. I’m very excited for everyone to hear it because I have worked so hard on this new collection of songs.” The single is said to have the sound of dance/pop artist Robyn mixed with digital distribution label mate Rihanna and a dash of Ke$ha and Lily Allen for lyrical content.

Daniel Gray has also finalized two huge deals. He has signed on for digital distribution with the ISLAND DEF JAM (Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, and Justin Bieber) digital portal, as well as a new management deal with New York superstar manager, STEPHEN SCHULMAN (The Glamazons, Josh Zuckerman and Athena Reich).
